About Me

Hi! I'm Jamie - a fashion marketing graduate from UCA epsom

A key factor that that is often overlooked in the skincare market is the idea of skin positivity and confidence. This is an area I hold strong interest in and believe it deserves to be addressed and highlighted.

The skincare market is seeing continued and consistent growth. Although many industries have been negatively impacted by COVID-19, skincare and wellness are only gaining momentum.

INSPIRATION

I am perfectly me.

During lockdown (from March-July 2020), I went through a period of extreme break outs and flare ups (something I don’t experience often). I researched skincare products thoroughly during this period in hopes of diagnosing and solving my problem, but I found it extremely difficult as I was unable to diagnose myself and find the root of the problem.

This period of skin irregularity really affected my confidence and caused me to feel extremely insecure. I would like to help others who are experiencing the same things by giving them confidence, guidance and support.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

A personal service from a personal story.

A majority of skincare brands on the market right now are solution-based. Their entire purpose and drive is to offer solutions to consumers’ concerns regarding their skin. The marketing behind skincare products portrays natural skin as ‘imperfect’ or ‘undesirable’ in order to drive sales and increase growth Dear Diary has a fresh and personal outlook and approach to natural skin and skin concerns. We prioritise the often overlooked and neglected aspect within the industry – mental health. Rather than offering a solution that can be found everywhere, we offer a service that brings us one step closer to normalising skin concerns by embracing our natural skin with confidence and happiness.

Our skin protects and loves us through whatever we go through, shouldn't we do the same for it too?
