About Me

Aspiring fashion analyst, trend forecaster and concept creator.

Fuelled by the desire to present the theme of evolving identity and culture with different media such as journalism, photography and graphic design, and through various practices such as styling and trend forecasting, Paige is a visual and analytical fashion communicator whose work explores ethical and environmental themes within the fashion industry.

Inspired by emerging trends, she aims to create a body of work that initiates compelling conversations into the theme of fashion identity and presents the topic in innovative and contemporary ways that continue to push boundaries and challenge pre-conceived fashion industry norms. Dedicated to executing each project from concept creation to completion at the highest standard, she enjoys networking and collaborating with creatives and strives to represent a wide range of influences within her work. Paige hopes to pursue a career in fashion marketing, journalism and trend forecasting.

INSPIRATION

Representing identity, society and the importance of unity.

“&” is a collaborative publication that aims to represent changing identity throughout challenging periods of time. With the ambition to understand how events plays a role in an individual’s growth and development, with the global pandemic as a backdrop and told partially through the lens of other creatives, the publication examines how crises can encourage individuals to alter their external means of expression and change their interactions with the community, the culture and society around them.

In a time where conversations around identity are in constant consideration, the outcome aims to encourage and aid other individuals with the information, knowledge and understanding on how to promote their own individual identity during times of disarray, as well as offer the resources to understand how to form a better and more inclusive environment and fashion industry that can be enjoyed post-COVID, by providing honest and authentic accounts from different collective groups across the nation.

DETAIL

& Magazine presents 'Then & Now'

The content within & Magazine has but one real goal in mind – to provide authentic narratives about identity from contrasting individuals in differing cultural & societal communities both internationally and nationally. Relying heavily on submissions & collaborations across all elements of its content, identity remains at its core whether it be independent, collective, artistic or cultural. Interweaving many different narratives & stories throughout its pages, it aims to represent identity within different contexts & scenarios, respectfully, aesthetically & in the most compelling and contemporary way. To accommodate for the global pandemic, the restrictions that have come from it & the various changes that have had to be made, it was important that this first issue of & Magazine, Then & Now, did all it could to comply to these measures as well as use it to its advantage in the most versatile way, both visually & verbally.
