Hi, I am Amalia, a fashion designer graduate from UON.
My name is Amalia-Adela Samoila a fashion designer, stylist and fashion content creator that has a keen eye for detail and a natural talent for bringing creative concepts to life. I thrive working in collaborative environments as well as independently, my leadership and organisation skills have led to multi-award-winning competitions across the year.
I have 8 years of fashion studies. I have always been fascinated by fashion and the power it has in expressing one's individuality as well as the importance of sustainability and awareness. My life's goal is to promote sustainable and ethical fashion practices and to raise awareness about the importance of responsible consumption by building a sustainable brand called AAMBIVERT. I believe that fashion can be a force for good and that by making conscious choices, we can create a more sustainable and equitable future.
INSPIRATION
“Create your avatar-create your better reality”- AAMBIVERT
AAMBIVERT is a dystopian and cyberpunk inspired capsule collection with influences from the past, present and future, blended in a neutral colour palette. The silhouette is focused on body armour, tactical gear, protective wear, and compression pads. Based on the concept of a video game where you can experience creating your own avatar. The brand's ethos is to empower people to embrace their individuality and express themselves through clothing.
The brand gives the wearer empowerment and confidence, hope of survival through good and bad, and bringing awareness about the future consequences. Aambivert inspires individuals who are interested in science fiction, technology, ai and survivalism. The clothing collection is made from dead-stock leather, scrap materials, recycled plastic parts and other materials such as neoprene for a tight fit, 3d space mesh for air to flow, and waterproof twill canvas.

Influenced by the concept of video gaming you will experience creating your own avatar and building and experimenting with outfit choices. The brand’s emphasis focuses on empowerment, confidence, and self-expression through clothing bringing awareness to important issues like empathy, risk of war, pollution, technology, ai and survivalism, it addresses individuals who are concerned about the future of humanity and the world we live in.
