About Me

I am Daiki Takeuchi graduate from Bunka Fashion College

I graduated from Bunka Fashion College with an advanced degree in fashion. For me, creating clothing is about becoming someone’s wizard and striving to bring them happiness.

I create clothing that revives and accompanies the innocence of childhood and cherished memories, bringing small moments of happiness to those who wear them.

INSPIRATION

Self-Exploration

By exploring my own worldview and values while experiencing new cultures and experiences, I gain a deeper understanding and broader perspective. Confronting my inner self helps me find clues for living a more meaningful life. I linked this personal exploration and quest for the meaning of life with the world of Alice in Wonderland to create this collection.

I drew inspiration from the book “Alice in Wonderland,” which had been in my family home since I was young. Alice’s journey, where she loses her sense of identity and feels as though her body is someone else’s, resonated with my own feelings. This connection led me to make “self-exploration” the theme of this collection.

DETAIL

Childhood and the Decay of Things

Inspired by “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” our collection parallels Alice’s fantastical journey with the quest for personal insight. Just as Alice encounters bizarre and enlightening characters and situations that challenge her perception and understanding, our designs evoke wonder and curiosity, encouraging wearers to embark on their own journeys of introspection and discovery. Our designs draw inspiration from the 19th-century Victorian era, incorporating elements from furniture and William Morris’s wallpaper. We focus on sustainability by using discarded leather, sustainable digital prints, and original knits. The details assign new professions and roles to the characters from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, promoting their self-exploration.
