About Me

Hey! I'm Dalia - FM+C graduate from Sheffield Hallam University

Dalia is a creative with original roots in digital and fine arts, specializing in project leadership and visual storytelling. Demonstrates a cutting-edge and progressive approach to the subject, leveraging the transformative power of fashion and photography to spark creativity. Enthusiastic about producing projects they are deeply passionate about.

Being Lithuanian and Egyptian, I come from a multicultural heritage of creatives. I have been immersed in art and aesthetics from a young age, which was greatly encouraged in my daily life. This environment fostered my passion for creation, leadership, and achieving meticulous results. During my university studies, I discovered a new enthusiasm for photography and styling. I thrive in collaborative settings with like-minded individuals, eager to explore the potential outcomes of our collective efforts.

INSPIRATION

A passion for a simpler time - Childhood Nostalgia

Childhood nostalgia significantly shapes my personality and personal interests. From internet humour to the cultural dynamics between Gen Z and Millennials, I have enjoyed exploring the resurgence of early 2000s trends. My inspiration stems from my own childhood, having grown up deeply engaged with online culture, celebrities, fashion, and music that defined that iconic era. To capture this essence, I conducted three photoshoots for inclusion in my magazine, BCK2000s (Back-to-the-2000s).

The purpose of my magazine was to highlight Gen Z fashion perspectives on the early 2000s through creating their own beloved looks.

Production & Execution

Alongside my printed Magazine, I produced a Podcast to further delve into the topics of fashion through the eyes of university students. Topics include: Body Image, Culture, and Trends.

I wanted to do it. So I did it.
