About Me

Hi, I'm Haiwei Guo, A fashion design student from CQUE

Life is oxygen of designer, and I believe a good designer should have responsibility to bring people a better life through their works,so my works show my interests of some minority group who might need more attention.I wish through my design cloud call out recognition and also understanding.Eventually, create a possibility for people to meet their better life.

For me, design is People-oriented, which is to meet everyone's needs and try to respond to those requirements. For the graduate collection, I focused on grown-up issues of children. I wish to encourage those special children who are facing psychological problems as well as Let more people pay attention to this phenomenon

INSPIRATION

Restore innocence from the child's mental disorders

After initial research, I found that there are such a group of children are mental health patients. They might have anxiety, depression, autistic disorder and so on. The mental illness that they are suffering not only let them in great pain but also leads the whole family to live under a cloud. So, I decided to take those minority groups of children as my inspiration, and by my design, I wish I could let more people realize this vulnerable population.

DETAIL

My designs try to convey mental disorder Children’s feeling of being tied and wrapped.

I filled lots of cottons to keep a rounded silhouette to present the innate innocence of children. By adding irregular wraps, I wish the whole design could convey the inner voice of the children who are suffering from mental health issues: they are like the caged macaw Who cannot spread her wings which require the attention of society and everyone.
