About Me

Hi! I'm Phoebe, a graduate from Ravensbourne University.

Phoebe was inspired by her own battles with autoimmune diseases and wanted to use her bad experiences and turn them into something positive.

My aim with Cloud Cosmetics is to provide those who suffer from autoimmune diseases with make up and skincare that they can trust and which is specifically designed to tackle the issues they face as a result of these hidden diseases. Many warriors suffer from skin sensitivity, scars and blemishes making it difficult for them to use mainstream beauty products which is where Cloud Cosmetics comes in.

INSPIRATION

My inspiration came from my own struggles with Lupus

During my diagnosis, I discovered that there was a lack of support out there for autoimmune disease warriors. Apart from my doctor their was no one to turn to and it can often feel like you are on your own. I also found that there was nothing on the market that was specifically designed to tackle the problems that fellow warriors face which was accessible. Therefore I knew that I wanted to create a safe, honest cosmetics range as well as a platform for autoimmune disease sufferers to come together.

Having spoke to a variety of people who suffer from different autoimmune diseases, it was clear that many suffer flare ups as a result of toxic chemicals in their make up and often have to go without, lowering their self esteem. This made me decide that there was defiantly a need for Cloud in the market as when you are facing an autoimmune disease, feeling yourself on the outside can give you the strength to power on.

We hosted a Self care Saturday Yoga Class

For our pre launch event we hosted a yoga class giving autoimmune disease warriors the chance to unwind and relax which is crucial when dealing with these health problems. Each participant received a Cloud goodie bag including merchandised face masks, candles, sweets, key rings and a cupcake. We received amazing feedback both on the brand and the event and everyone couldn't believe how relaxed they felt after and enjoyed connecting with others facing the same battles as them.
