I am a fashion design student with 6 years of experience studying in this field. I take pride in my work and what I create. I always try to strive for innovation and functionality. In the past I've designed collections for Athleisure-wear, Formal-wear & Sportswear. designing gender fluid pieces has also almost become second nature to me.
In the second year of university, I won the Next competition which allowed me to go work within the industry. This was the opportunity I needed. it gave me an insight into how work was within the industry also this was a massive inspirational boost for me personally.
INSPIRATION
A lot of people throughout the world have experienced mental lows and physical slumps since 2020. For my final university project, I wanted to create a collection that inspired activity. After researching ways people can overcome negative thoughts in their mind, the overwhelming response was exercise. Since then, physical exercise has become a big part of staying on track of my mental health. I have found that it has also improved my creativity and communication skills on days I work.

DETAIL
My most recent collection focuses on versatility. I wanted to design a collection that could function in multiple settings. Weather that be at work, working out or going out after work with friends. My aim and ambition was to create a collection that could function in all three of these environments. I set out by creating a mood for the garments. all had to be comfortable, sleek and had some sort of waterproofing to keep dry during exposure to the elements. This I believe not only helps with unnecessarily changing outfits during the day thus cutting back on washing usage, but also will help to provide motivation to the consumer by being ready for any activity at any time.
