INSPIRATION
"For my graduation collection, I've embraced the principles of continuous sustainable fashion by sourcing fabric waste from local Japanese enterprises like kimono and life jackets, and integrating natural materials like pineapple fiber and apple vegan leather."
By repurposing discarded textiles and utilizing innovative biomaterials, Shige's collection embodies a commitment to environmental responsibility and social consciousness. Each garment not only minimizes waste but also showcases the potential for creative and sustainable design practices. Through this approach, Shige aims to inspire a shift towards more eco-conscious fashion choices while highlighting the beauty and versatility of sustainable materials in the industry.
