About Me
Hi I'm Yolanda a Fashion Communication graduate from UWE
My life and experiences are a rich source of inspiration for me, as I explore self expression and experimental photography in my work. I am also fascinated by art and culture, and I try to incorporate their influences in my creative process.
I aim to progress in to the industry by connecting and working with other creatives who share my vision and passion for personal projects and capturing the essence of people who inspire me.
INSPIRATION
As long as we are persistence in our pursuit of our deepest destiny, we will continue to grow.
I connect with my subjects, who are my friends and strangers alike, through street casting and online networks. Working in this way has allowed me to communicate my ideas and world view. As a multi faceted practitioner, I like to explore using other mediums such as moving image, digital photography, styling and creative direction.
Analogue photographer and a digital filmmaker. I document the lives and stories of people in subcultures particularly youth culture, exploring how they express themselves and seek escapism from reality through film photography. I use 35mm film to capture the rawness and beauty of these moments.

MY WORK STEMS FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES, DOCUMENTARY STYLE WORK AND THE IDEA OF “WHAT IF”. AUTHENTICITY AND SPONTANEITY ARE ALSO HUGE THEMES I PLAY INTO WHICH I STRIVE TO DEVELOP CONSTANTLY. STRIVING TO EXPLORE AND PORTRAY THE WORLD AROUND ME THROUGH DIFFERENT MEDIUMS.
I love documenting the vibrant and the strange and hope to do more documentation projects in the future which represent real people and the wonders of the world.
